Radium Therapy in America, 1898-1939

Aimee Slaughter studies at the University of Minnesota. She received a 2012-2013 Dissertation Research Fellowship for her research exploring the fascinating collaboration between physicists and physicians to bring patients radium therapy, beginning during the American radium craze at the beginning of the century and following it through the development of artificial radioisotopes just before the outbreak of World War II.
