The Post-Heroic Generation: American Independent Inventors, 1900-1950
Eric S. Hintz, a PACHS Dissertation Research Fellow for 2007-2008, is a Ph.D. candidate studying the history and sociology of science and business history at the University of Pennsylvania. His fellowship supported research at five of the PACHS member institutions: the American Philosophical Society (APS), the Chemical Heritage Foundation (CHF), the Franklin Institute, the Hagley Museum and Library, and Penn. Here is his report.
