HoS Micropost: The Cavendishes, a Scientific Dynasty?

Melvin Bragg’s “In Our Time” is an excellent program on BBC Radio 4 (previously mentioned inthis post). Bragg often invites renowned historians of science to discuss some topic.

On yesterday’s program he interviewed Jim Bennett, Simon Schaffer, and Patricia Fara were the guests invited to discuss the Cavendish family, exploring their achievements over nearly three centuries: The Scientific Cavendishes (Podcast available here).
