Keith Thomson talks about the young Charles Darwin on NPR. Keith has written several books about Darwin and evolution, including: The Young Charles Darwin (2009); The Legacy of the Mastodon: The Golden Age of Fossils in America (2008); Before Darwin: Reconciling God and Nature (2005); and H M S Beagle: The Story of Darwin’s Ship (1995). He has run the Oxford Museum of Natural History, the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, and the Peabody Museum of Natural History at Yale. While Keith has held distinguished teaching, research, and administrative positions at fancy institutions, surely none compares to being one of the directors of PACHS.
You can hear the interview at National Public Radio. The comments there make for fun reading.
