Includes: ten letters signed "by The Speaker," many of which were written by Samuel Adams; 'Papers relating to a supposed libel' which has a special half-title and refers to the Governor Bernard affair; 'A dissertation on the canon and the Rudal law' attributed by Hollis to Jeremiah Gridley but written by John Adams; and a letter that appeared in the London Chronicle for 7 Jan. 1768 signed F.S., i.e. Benjamin Franklin (Adams).
