Horn; the residences of lawyers J.H. Longenecker, W. Snell, and J.B. Cessna; the Presbyterian Church designed by Solomon Filler; the building housing bankers Jartley & Bowers as well as jeweler J.W. Ridenour; and the Episcopal Church designed by O.R. Hickok. Central view includes a locomotive pulling freight and passenger cars on railroad tracks in the foreground. Bedford was founded as a trading post in 1751 by Robert Ray.
