Kriegs-Demokraten : wenn ihr McClellan und Pendleton erwählt und McClellan würde mit Tode abgehen, was würde aus dem Lande werden unter der Verwaltung von George H. Pendleton als erste Magistrats-Person?
[Philadelphia, Pa.] : Gedruckt bei King und Baird, No. 607 Sansomstrasse, Philadelphia., [1864]
Translation of: War Democrats if you elect McClellan and Pendleton, and M'Clellan then dies, what will become of the country with George H. Pendleton as its chief magistrate?
Kriegs-Demokraten is printed on half the sheet; the other half of the sheet, intended to be separated after printing, has two states of: Southern Democracy! The object of the Southern Rebellion and its Northern allies, is to render slavery universal. Under the name of Democracy, they seek to deprive labor of all its rights. ... Thus the "Democrats," North and South, pronounce free society a failure, and free labor a curse. Slavery is a blessing to be extended over all men who labor, whether black or white. King & Baird, printers, 607 Sansom Street, Philad'a. [the second state spells out Philadelphia in the imprint].
